7th Annual CBKA Tournament - Rocktoberfest 2017

    Plans are in place for the 7th annual CBKA tournament for Charity. This year the tournament will take place in October and has been dubbed Rocktoberfest 2017. Registration link and all the details can be found here: http://chesapeakebaykayakanglers.com/

    2017 CBKA Rocktoberfest

    October 6-7
    Camp Wright in Stevensville, Maryland

    Benefiting the Make-A-Wish ® Mid-Atlantic and the Coastal Conservation Association of Maryland.

    Camp opens at noon Friday, October 6th
    (Waiver and release form signed at check in)

    Entry Fee - $70.00

    All tournament registrants will receive a long-sleeved tournament t-shirt and captains bag.

    Tenting is included with registration fee.
    (Provide your own tent, sleeping bag etc)
    (No campers, RV's, camp trailers etc)

    All non-participant guests - $15.00
    (includes tenting, does not include T-shirt)

    Cabins available - $25/person/bunk/single
    Entire cabin sleeps 8 - $200
    (Provide your own sleeping bags, pillows etc, limited number of cabins so you may have to share)

    Captains meeting - 6:00 PM - Oct. 6th - not mandatory

    Tournament start - first light - Oct. 7th

    Awards dinner and raffle - 4:00 PM - Oct. 7th

    Cool! Is the fishing better there in October? Was that the reason for the date change?

    Yes, generally as temperatures cool, more striped bass move into kayak accessible waters.
