I'm getting ready to put a Panfish in the MM behind my seat, which is currently occupied by a 1 1/2" Screw Ball and Dog Bone. Will I be able to Replace the 1" ball on the end of the Panfish with my 1 1/2" Screw Ball so my Dog Bone and Connectors still work?

    Thanks,
    Dan

After posting this I di some tinkering in the garage and came up with an idea, that I soon found to be widely in use already.

It took me a few months to get my hands on the parts, but replaced the T-bolt on the bottom of the panfish with a 1/4-20 stud, and attached a screw ball and a connector, which allows for the desired angle shot.

    Hi Dan,

Sorry I missed this post. What you ended up doing is exactly what I would have recommended :)

    Thanks.

Are you using a 1.5" ball for the screwball and base connector?

A little late, but yes. After using this set up for more than a year now, I love it.
