Just wondering if a screwball with reverse threads is in the future? If I mount my ram tube on the left side all you have to do is tap it and the screwball unscrews...which could mean a lost rod(unless leashed of course)especially with a big fish hitting on the troll. Thanks for any info anyone may have!

If you are going to do any light trolling we recommend using the HD Track Mount instead of a Screwball. Here is a link; http://www.yakattack.us/TBK_1005_p/tbk-1005.htm. It is a non rotational track mounted ball so you don't have to worry about a left side mounted rod holder coming off the track. Ideally this would be the best set up for trolling: http://www.yakattack.us/ZT_005_p/zt-005.htm. You will need this mounting kit to attach the RAM plunger base to the track; http://www.yakattack.us/MMS_12_p/mms-12.htm.
