I currently paddle a 2010 OK Trident 15. I have the basic Rod Pod cover. The previous owner put a trolling motor on it and the controller is at the back edge of the cover and there are 2 large Ram Mount balls for Rod holders.
I measured the gunwale width right at the rudder control rails and it is 3/4"...
Any idea if the narrower gear tracks could be made to work there? I know it is .90" wide.. Do you think that .15" can be fudged a little?

I'd also like to see ideas on FF mounting so that it does not interfere with paddling and can be adjusted and read with older eyes...

    Thanks!!

I know this is an old post now, and I'm sure you probably already got your answer; but in case anyone else is wondering, yes, the narrow gear track will work. I just installed it on my Trident 13.
