Well, her is mine http://s1154.photobucket.com/albums/p536/sv268/. Looking into the silent pads
By "silent pads" do you mean the Silent Traction System (STS) material?
The navigation lights are a nice touch!
Thanks for sharing!
One safety issue I'd like to mention and that is the use of Navigation lights. I've had discussions with Vic at ARC and Aaron at BMS and the three of us agree that running lights on a kayak are actually a bad idea. The reason for that is that boats with running lights usually are under power and able to maneuver. That really isn't the case with a kayak. If folks see your running lights and feel that they are in a position that gives them the right of way, you now have to maneuver out of the way and you may not be able to do so in a kayak with only pedal or a paddle for propulsion. That's why the USCG only requires a single white light. That is the signal for "anchored" and means that folks have to maneuver around you. Pretty sweet looking kayak otherwise!
This is an interesting comment that I've never given that much thought to before. Thank you for your input on this Mike. I have my yak rigged with navigation lights near the bow, but I also have a BassYaks motor on my yak... still... I cannot maneuver as easy as a power boater could and it is something certainly to think about.
Nice job on the PA svalerga2... I like the interior lights as well as the green fishing lights too. Sweet.
Great job of rigging... lots of thought. Your seat did remind me of my recliner at home. I shouldn't go fishing alone if I had a seat like that... friends would have to wake me now and then.
My 11 year old son's 2011 Ocean Kayak Scrambler 11.
I installed the OEM OK hatch, front Scotty rod holder w/extender. I just added YakAttack MightyMount(s), Fullback(s), Screwball(s), RAM rod tube & a VISICarbon Pro.
This is his third kayak and he loves it....I think it really helps that he uses a AT Ergo bent shaft paddle, makes his time paddling more enjoyable.
A Happy Camper!
Here are a few pictures of my kayak in dry dock.
GlockGuy, you have a sharp boat man.

Rigged and ready for spring. Still a work in progress.
These are some nice looking yaks! I love Glockguy's use of STS. That is impressive! I may try to do something similar. I've made a lot of changes to mine over the off season. Once I get it back out I'll take a picture of it rigged up.
Look forward to seeing them!
